Pixelated Pictures in SD

Just set-up a VU+ Duo with Elite 1.3.3 and noticing that the standard digital pictures are very pixelated. Got it in 720p mode, scaler sharpness about 3 notches from top.
What do you suggest please?

first thing to ask is, What signal Strenth have you got, and on what Saterllite?? some SD providers arew pretty knaff, as far as piccy quality goes

Signal quality is fine mate. Tried a few channels all the same, including WDR Germany which is great on other boxes I use.

I'd personally try a newer image before inverstigatting any futher. Also is video enhancement plugin installed?

All you can do is play with the settings ,what's the tv? not a 1080p lcd is it.

Yes it's a 1080p TV bob, there is a video enhancement option, what should it be set as?
