Unable to mount CIFS share

Worked fine in the previous releases. Now it doesn't mount and if i check /var/log/messages i can see:

Aug 20 12:15:09 et9x00 user.err kernel: CIFS VFS: Connecting to DFS root not implemented yet

Just goggling to look for a solution. Any recommendations appreciated :)

did you install NFS and Samba in Network settings, these are no longer installed by default

Genuis- thanks Maxwell- installed smb from the menu and all is well :)
