New driver of 20/08/2012

- Improve TS playback
- Improve Graphic 2D acceleration
- Fix Russian VFD display(duo, uno)

How do you install these on the UNO then?

Will these work with any version of VIX or only on the latest version?

they will only work with 3.1.1 linux kernel images.

extract the drivers from the archive then FTP to /lib/modules/3.1.1/extra ( copy these files to your pc for safe keeping then overwrite them with the new drivers ).
then do a FULL reboot not just a enigma2 / gui restart a Full reboot.

you also need to flash the new FPGA. copy both files TS_PRO.dat and TS_PRO.dat.md5 to your memory stick / hdd ( i use my usb stick and a folder called uno FPGA ). then go to menu> plugins> Firmware upgrade> green button. then navigate to the folder where you saved the files.

DO NOT reboot the receiver or turn it off in any way while upgrading the FPGA or you will damage it, the box will reboot it self when done.

they will be integrated into the next release although the FPGA must be flashed by the user as it can not be integrated into a image before hand.

Did you feel that, it is better now? did you get more channels or what? I mean is this update mandatory? or we can skip it?

The FPGA upgrade is mandatory if you want to use the newest drivers and images once those drivers become integrated into newer images / builds.

I applied the updates and i can not tell if is better or not becasue my dish needs alignment

What frequency do you want me to check
