New Image

Has anyone been brave enough to install the new Prince of Persia image? It all reads well but I am concerned that there may not be any web support at this time, also that it is unlikely to have DVB-T support. I have downloaded the software and am ready to go but any other opinions would be welcome.

As canthackit says, just try the image and see how it goes... Always take a backup of your current image in case you don't like it or summat :p

BTW, may want to hang fire for a little bit and see if there's another image coming around soon that you like :p

Hi mates

I looked at this but dont think i will bother...its not come from a team with any reputation dream aaf vti etc and i have my worries about having the CCcam already added to the image who knows what cud be burried in all the data to possible hack into your network so that will be a pass from me

i agree on the cccam part but not the first part.... all mentioned teams didn't have any reputation when they started and it came bit by bit and so it will always be with any new team gettin into the scene ;)

well perhaps unfairly, I to have doubts about the "Prince" image, as satmanbasil has said, it comes all singing + danceing, with preinstalled cams, so this image needs looking at closely, as its is possible that you may be inviteing unwanted guest into your network, or sending info to an unknown source, I am not saying this is the case, but it is possible

also on pimps, there was a message that the image was to be reuploaded

I have no idea as I haven't tried it... If it doesn't say in it's release thread, then I guess it hasn't been tested for it...
