You have told it to: A. Use the HD numbering system. B. Exclude the unavailable HD channels . This is why there are some "missing" channels.

Change your "Bouquet channel list" to SD and then run the plugin again.

Did that too but it made no difference, sports channels still have weird numbering. Perhaps I should telnet into the box and delete all bouquets and then try again?

just done rescan again and now its found the new frequencies for bt sports hd channels thanks guys

I deleted my bouquets and channels using telnet command, ran AB again, this time the bouquet categories came up and channel numbers were correct, however bt HD was nowhere to be found. Rebooted the box, replaced the files again (not that this should make a difference because they were already there) and AB again and this time bt HD came up. So all is now well, just needed to run AB twice it seems.

I'm using Vix Hades 15 and your plugin and I have noticed the below in my bouquet list, wasn't sure if everybody has the same issue or just me.

I think its the BBC Interactive that's missing.

That is the BBC Interactive bouquet. It is empty, hence the N/A. Hopefull when the BBC RB button changes revert, it will come back to normal. Lraizer is probably the only one able to recode a fix for it.

Hi Abu - not exactly a request for support warranting a new thread, but two questions:

1. where can I find details on 'PaphosAl's sort files' which is mentioned in the description of the new version in the other thread?
2. Plugin downloads are not showing any version of AB 28.2 at all in the feeds, I'm guessing this is being looked into?

What does it mean about the custom swap file?
Does it mean I can't use my own custom_swap.txt file anymore?

I swap some channels around to suit me and I change things around every few months when new channels launch, with the latest AB E2 28.2, I can't do this anymore?

Nothing major. Changed the default service, supplement/swap file changes and a script edit to deal with unlinked bouquets on some images.

I have seen in several posts you mentioning that AMB is better overall than AB 28.2.
I have tried AMB but I find that if you use the channel swap option for it works the way you want it to in some circumstances (for example SS1 HD is swapped with SS1). But in others circumstances when you don't want to do the swap the HD channel for the SD version (for example BTSP1) then it doesn't do this. Maybe I'm doing something wrong as this level of customisation functionality is present in ABM?

By the way, I haven't ignored your suggestion to start a new thread for support, for AB 28.2 but this isn't really a question related to AB 28.2 it's more related to AMB. If you feel I should move this post then I will. Thanks.

It seems to update when I dont have a free satellite tuner, and also seems to update when my internet is disconnected so I can't tell the source.

AB 28.2 checks if it is on a 28.2 service. If it is, it continues. If it isn't, it zaps to the sky intro channel.

Using the updated version. (21st July) With settings at SD London, Available HD and Sort3. It lists all the channels I want but not in the sky order. EG BT sports is on top of sports section. BBC London HD and SD are at top of entertainment section. Is this intentional or Have i done something wrong. (Using latest vix from 16th July)

Sort 3 is meant to be user editable. So i edited it to have some bouquets similar to Rat's ones, I made the BT sports at top of Soorts section. The entertainment one had the local channels becuase people complained about wanting their local BBC/ITV.

You can edit to suit your liking.

Ok I've sorted most of the initial problems but still can't work out how to display channel numbers please point me in the right direction to resolve.

Most of your "problems" above disappear if you select "Custom" area.

To switch-on Setanta/Premier just select "non indexed" channels in the "expert" menu.

Printing the channel number to the infobar (like is possible with LraiZer's plugin) breaks service name picons, which is why it is a feature not built in to ABM. But if you really want to do this you can add it as a hack in a custom.xml file. Details are here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?47016-ABM-Hacks-Examples&p=368824&viewfull=1#post368824).

Unless you are using a single tuner receiver, almost all the features of AB 28.2 are in in ABM.

Latest release version is still 21/07/2015. There is a modified reader but someone stated it is not working for them. You can find latest reader here.

Hi everybody

new to the forum and to enigma2 & openvix so apologies for being dumb.

I've tried ABM with Sky UK and Freesat and only Sky UK tunes and reads the info. I noticed a suggestion to swap the LNB connections but that made no difference.

I'm not really bothered about the Freesat channel listings except I can't get all the HD channels displayed that are available from Freesat but not on Sky UK.

My question is, can I manually add/edit the ABM info and add the channels from Freesat?

I'm not even sure how to add favourites, that's how new I am, sorry.

Any help for this newbie would be a great help.

Autobouquets 28.2 by Lraizer does not do Freesat. You would need to use AutoBouquetsMaker (ABM) for that. You simply select Freesat as your provider and run ABM. Just installed the latest AB you just posted on a vu+solo2 and uno with blackhole 2.1.7

When i go into menu i cant see the menu settings. Its cut. All i can see is the menu not what i am changing the settings too

Try turning your screen by 90 degrees.

Skin dimensions were changed in the plugin as wella s centering that page. If the skin you are using in the image has a section for the plugin, it will need altering. Try another skin for now.

Blackhole should accomodate centering a screen. PLi and OE-A images do.

All system are go! Lol that has sorted it. In the previous versions i have always left it on hd

Anyway on the the info bar the wrong channel number is shown. But when you input the channel number on the box it goes to the correct channel

For example if i do 101 it goes to bbc1 but on the info bar it shows 27

Its ok i just restarted enigma 2 and channel numbers are fine

All working good so far. I will post again if i find anything else

Default is to have them hidden. Not all images support the place holders used to make up the blanks. Nothing you can do, sorry. Have a word with Vu/VTi/Blackhole. Lots of others support them.

Fixed the long standing Irish issue
Added translation file. Anybody wishing to translate to any other language can download the .po file from ukcvs
Bouquet demarcation for shopping and entertainment altered
Lifestyle and culture is vacant and can be populated using the sort options

Sort Options:
Channels outside the range 100-999 can now be used

For channels that do not have a proper LCN, they are assigned 65535, you must use the "virtual number".
The virtual number is 65535+EPG ID. So, if you wanted to add BT Sport Mosaic ( EPG ID =5030) into a bouquet,
the virtual number to use in the sort file would be 70565 (65535+5030). Entry in sort file would be u1=70565

You can now rename the bouquets when using the sort files. The section markers in the large frst bouquet will not be affected.
To do so, you must prefix the bouquet nyumber wih a "$". E.G "$02= Localised channels"

Five extra user bouquets added. The sample sort 3 file has made use of these.
Sort 3 file has always been for the user to adapt to their liking.

I deliberately split the uploads/downloads into another thread. This makes it easier to find them. Link to last upload is in post 1573.

I think is using Blackhole and the version of the plugin on the image being used may be older. I cannot check as I don't have a Vu. If this is the case, two options are:

1.
Transfer plugin installer (ipk file) to /tmp and install by command line:
opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*ipk

2.
Use manual install:
Transfer the plugin folder to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

i have a vu+ solo 2. I am loking for the auto bouquest for this box please. And a dummies guide of how to install would be great as i am new to this. Also how do I swap the numbers so the hd version is 418 and sd is 453? I knew how to edit the whitelist with autobouquets maker but obviously abe2 seems built a bit differently so excuse me is this is a silly question.

Edit with notepad++

Looks like I had omitted a few swaps anyway. So try to edit yourself for the sense of achievement. Otherwise unzip/unrar the attached files and transfer to:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoBouquets

With regards to your question on swap, you have to enable the channel swap option. The thread is over 1500 posts long, expecting people to read it is unrealistic. Have a look at the helpfile in the plugin directory. Should answer most questions you may have.

I am tyring to change my bouquet channel sort.

In Bouquet Channel Sort I have changed from large 1st bouquet to HD first. No matter what I try I can't get the Bouquets to display HD first.

I have tried deleting all bouquets, restarting and redownloading but still get the large 1st bouquet first.

Any ideas?

You are asking about ABM in the AB 28.2 thread. They are two separate plugins.

AB 28.2 and ABM make their bouquets according to their programming and files. If you maunally edit their bouquets, you are wasting your time. Next time they run, they will remake the bouquets according to their programming and files.

It is possible to ABM and AB 28.2 make bouquets how you want them to. Both have different ways of achieving this.

AB 28.2
This uses the custom sort files. You can modify the existing custom_sort_3.txt file to your liking, or make your own. You can even rename the bouquets in cluding the large one. You cannot get rid of the large first bouquet if you use sort 3.

ABM
In my view the favourites.xml system is the best way of doing so. There are other processes, but in my experience, this is the easiest way. You can use differnyt providers too. Some work needs to be put in to begin with, but then it looks after itself. If the offcial numbers change, you will have to adapt your files. A link to an existing thread was posted for you in your ABM thread.

Sorry i must have missed the reply, the problem i have that want to solve is 2 channels i like to swap into my custom cable bouquet are changing location on the sky non indexed channels on an almost daily basis.

Hi, I am using AutoBouqets E2 and trying to set this up for ROI - I can select the Republic of Ireland as my area, but the channel line isn't right. For example, Channel 102 should be RTE 2 but instead it is BBC Two NI; 103 should be TV3 but instead it is ITV London HD, 104 Should be TG4 but instead it is Channel 4 HD

Yes it is possible to fix. Run with no swaps and check numbers are correct for your region. In some regions 115 is BBC One HD. In others 115 is BBC 2 HD.

This will put some HD channels first but it sorts out the bouquets to at least working

Hi Guys, since BBCs frequency swap earlier this week, I'm seeing a few anomalies.
When region is set to NI, Wales or Scotland, BBC1 HD (Regional version, ie BBC 1 NI HD) is put on 141, where as all other regions (excluding ROI which has a very different line up) have BBC2 HD as 141. This becomes a problem when using channel swap. The temporary work around is to either disable channel swap or to manually edit custom_swap.txt, but it feels like there is something programmatically that needs to be fixed. Any thoughts? In a similar way that supplement.txt seems to be used to align regional ITV channels, is there a way to do this for BBC? Or is there another way to fix this (rather than work around it)?

Good evening. I've just 'dragged' BBC ALBA (with english language) which was sat up with a channel number of 65536. Anyway, I've added the following line to supplement.txt

#ALBA
986:2013:1:1918:7ff:11a0000:BSkyB:FTA:BBC Alba

It's put in in 986 for me which is where I want it, but there is no EPG data (which I am getting from the Welsh Language version of this channel sitting at 142). Is there anyway I can fix this so that EPG data is populated. I can see some reference to EPG data on other channels within supplement, but don't know how I would do that here.

It starts the update then it goes straight to reloading bouquets and services

it does no download the latest channels. and also 101 is set to bbc ireland even though i have set it up as east midlands

Try the 20/4/2016 version. Lraizer rebuilt the readers on an older machine to accomodate images using different version of GLIBCXX

For your other issue, it is really in your benefit to show a screenshot of your settings page. There may be people who can read minds, but some of us are not as gifted and do not know what settings you are using.

How would I go about REMOVING a channel altogether from my channel line up? I'd like to do this systemically rather than by deleting the channel in something like webif. Is there some entry I can add to supplement.txt. Just as an example, ch 400 is always sat there as S1Test, I'd just like to remove it from line up at scan time.

Hi - Im using the latest version of Lraizers enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_20160609_all.ipk - FTP'd over ran the scan, the channels are all there but are not populating, if I click on them the channel is there and it populates it and a couple of others trouble is I have to go through the whole lot to get them to show once I've put the box into standby I have the same problem. I've tried taking it off putting back on, updating the Vix image, restoring from a backup but I'm still having the same problems - is there anything you can suggest where its going wrong please??

Do you mean that the epg is not showing what programmes are on? If so this isn't down to autobouquets e2, cross epg is used to provide the programme data.

Only a few programmes show, the ones that are blank it just flicks over and misses them so I have exit that and use the "TV" button on the controller to bring up the complete list then I have to click on every blank one and it comes onto the preview window and mostly it then populates once I have gone through them all and exited and gone back into EPG I can see more but there are still blanks and when I put the box into standby and bring it out again its lost everything -- really weird as this as only just started happening -- pretty new to this as you may have guessed..

Will ABe2 run if the box is in standby? I'd always assumed it did. But I've just been sitting watching it when it was timed to run and there was no visible sign of it running (it didn't come out of standby mode for example). I'd also changed the regional settings but not scanned, and then left it standby to see if it was scanning in the background, but again, there is no evidence it run at all.

I'd also like to remove the Sky Sports Interactive, Anytime and BT Sport Extra channels from 1000-1020, as I have used the supplement to move these to the Sports and Entertainment sections (471-479; 481-486 and 291-292)?

I can't find any way to do either of these in the thread here, or elsewhere online.

Turn on 'Channel Swap' in the plugin and after adding the following line to the custom_swap.txt file and running the plugin again, it should have the required channel swap outcome.

OR simply add to the supplement.txt file one of the static complete channel references below, as only a complete reference will overwrite the epgid of an existing service postion so that it becomes a different channel altogether.

If you add the number to name, it is easier to find the one on position 1109. Current details are 12207Mhz, Vertical, 27500 5/6

I'am using openvix along with autobouquets e2 on my duo 2.

If I go through my others bouquet and put on channel 1109 for the sky sports 5 roi and press the 'up' button it shows 1122 then 1109.

So if I want to zap to it, I should be pressing 1109 but I actually have to press 1122.

Is there any reason why there is a difference in the channel numbers? is there a file containing the details I need to chanee.

If you are on 4.2 image, uninstall your existing one and install the one on the plugin server.

I have a strange development on autobouquets e2. Scrolling up and down through the bouquets has become really slow ie one at a time then when i release the button it scrolls on past the channell i want off it's own accord. Updated to latest image(no change) Can I uninstall the plugin and start afresh or is it the receiver perhaps. Xtrend et8500.

If you have latest OE-A /OpenPLI images, they will build latest version of plugin as and when they build an image.

The latest changes by LraiZer have done away with tying in to numbers. It is more robust and does not need as much maintenance.

If you a Wetek, use the ARM
All others will be mipsel

Double check the number you are using exists. We have removed the non working ones and moved the Irish ones into their place.
