Fitting hdd & recording?

Hi all,I have the solo box and was wondering if i fit a external hdd can i record 1 channel whilst watching another,as i tried with my usb flash stick,and the tv turned over to the channel i wanted to record while i wanted to watch another channel?

I ask as if its not really upto doing this,then its pointless me buying a hdd i guess.

Also is there a list of compatiable hdd to work with the solo,as i could not find the list when i did a search,even tho i think there is one?

As the Solo is a single tuner box, you are limited to only watching other channels on the same transponder while recording, so your options will be limited.

You could also add a USB tuner to give you many more recording options.
