not getting emails even though its set to instant email ?

Ive noticed ever since joining this site that even if I subscribe to a thread or create a thread etc and my options are set and saved to get and instant email if someone replies,I never ever have got an email notification as I should do.

So I keep forgetting to come back and check my messages sometimes until days later.:confused:

it would be good if this function worked.

can someone tell me whats going on please ?

did mate, was first thing I done since join the site, its never worked, checked spam/junk and deleted folder, but nope, I have no filters even set, plus I checked them anyway, so no, thats not the problem.

There was an issue with thr mail server which may explain your problem, its now been resolved so you should b ok from site side of things

Correct however that was just a recent thing. If as suggested by the OP this has always been the case, the problem must be with his isp or email client software .
