Guys,

Need some help please.

For some reason I've lost most of my epg data.

My epg storage used to be hdd but I've now changed it to USB.

Every time I try to download it ,it tells me that I have tuner problem and that I should configure my turner (service unavailable check tuner configuration)

I have fine picture and all channels are loaded, just this epg problem.

I have tried all that has been suggested (deleting files etc...but to no avail)

Anyone have any ideas
Thanks

make sure you are only downloading the data for the sat you have, check in crossepg settings, you may have by accident selected 19.2 when you maybe only want 28.2.

Thanks but already checked that.......28.2-- OpenTv

Thing is, it seems to load the FTA channels, but nothing else !!

I've exhausted all my ideas, hopefully someone else will have something I can try

Thanks for help anyway

i had the same issue, ftp to the box /etc/enigma2/ and see if the is an epg.dat file there and delete it, then go to /mnt/hdd & /mmt/usb and delete the epg.dat file.
reboot the box and redownload the epg.

Before deleting epg.dat you should stop Enigma2 (Telnet 'init 4').
Once data has been removed you can restart E2 (Telnet 'init 3').

I use Open TV epg in Cross EPG. How do I completely clear the epg data. Tried what was mentioned above however the epg still isn't cleared.

If you do:

init 4
delete the epg.dat (or whatever what name you gave it)
init 3

all epg data is gone. Of course: once tuned to a station you start collecting new data.
