HDD issue

Hi

I recently purchased a VU Solo (FromWOS) with BH image which is really good. However I am having a problem to get the HDD external drive to work . It is recognised Ok Hitachi 320Gb however I am getting the BH message unable to initialize harddisk error creating partition failed.

Can anyone suggest how to overcome

Thank you for your response I have followed all Ok Until when I Telnet mkdir /media/usb/movie I receive the message not found
