Help with HDD PAIRED WITH ANOTHER BOX

I have 1Tb internal hdd installed on vu ultimo and wanted to link the recording and view it on my Clarke-Tech / Xtrend ET9000 upstairs. Am currently using vix latest image on my Clarke-Tech / Xtrend ET9000 and vu ultimo.

am using wireless usb on the ext 9000 to connect to my local network and using Ethernet cable for the vu ultimo.

I cant not find the vu ultimo ip on the Clarke-Tech / Xtrend ET9000 when i click on network browser but i can see the Clarke-Tech / Xtrend ET9000 on vu ultimo.

i dont know why i can not find the vu ultmo network ip on the Clarke-Tech / Xtrend ET9000 box upstair.

please help
