vu+ keeps freezing

hi my duo keeps freezing at different times, i am using vix 2.4 with these plugins crossepg downloader,media scanner,openwebinf,pictureplayer,xmltv. cccam2.13 oscam1.0.4.

i reflashed the vuo+ but it still happens i have sent the deebug logs in & the reference number are below

i have done a factory reset & reflashed the box, i have checked there are no updates but it is still doing the same

freezing exactly how ?

as in the whole receiver locking up or just the channels ? If it's the channels does this happen on all of them or just the premium ones ?. please give as much more information as possible.

the receiver freezez i can t use the remote control as the box is frozen. it happens random channels on all channells

is it connected to the fact i cant update ext3 to ext4

i converted the file as above but it is still keeps freezing any ideas what to do next as i am out of ideas.

Initialize the HDD fresh, no need to convert if initialized fresh.

How many EPG sources do you have setup?

i have one source ryetec, but if i intiazie the hdd will i lose all of the recordings

the whole receiver freezes i cant change a chanel. i cant pit it in standby, or reboot it. it happens on all channe;s different times of the day

i leave it on standby, & the clock freezes it dose this if i leave it on any channel during the day when i go to work

My box is doing exactly the same mine started to do the same after I installed airplay app.

I have reflashed and it still does it at random times.

Please can you confirm how you fixed yours ?

Is there a way to do a complete flash other than by the USB?

Hi Everyone.I have a VU+solo2 and today I am experiencing the same problem. Box started freezes after I switched on today and rebooting itself randomly (every 10-15 minutes) This happens on any channels.
I have updated Black Hole image to 2.0.3 but no different. I have two fixed dishes connected
I would really appreciate any suggestions from members. Thank you

exactly the same problem here ' Its as if someone has pressed pause But the remote control is locked out it happens on random channels this has only happened since i updated to the new vix image

unfortunately that is a exceptionally vague reply especially if you expect us to offer some form of help.

we need more info on exactly what is happening.
does it happen on free channels or all of them, please give examples where possible.
what exact image including the build number are you using ( new ViX image simply is of no use to us ).
do you have any debug logs from the times these incidents happened ? if yes please post them here, if no please get some.

we do try to help all our users where possible but rob's crystal ball broke last week.

The box freezes on free to air channels and also premium Channels
The box release is openvix-3.0.722-vuduo_usb

My first thought when I have a stable image is make a Image and settings backup; therefore if you add a plugin, or whatever, and have a problem revert back to the backup, to established if it is a software problem.

Make sure when you configure any plug-ins that the location path is set to go to your HDD (eg..EPG, Swapfile etc.) and not the internal flash as this will def cause your box to hang with the busy sign....learned the hard way as well on this one!!
