For anyoneone out there using the (probably rare) combination of a VU+ and a NAD home theatre amp and progammable remote, the NAD HTRC remote will learn the VU+ commands IF you set it to "two pass" learning mode. I had about given up trying to teach the remote using the "normal" mode, as it seemed hit and miss as to whether the keys would work at any given time. There's info out there for Pronto, Harmony, and other remotes, but my NAD HTC does everything else it is seemed a shame to give up on it...
So, set the remote to learn in "two pass" mode, AND follow the NAD key with the VU+ remote key immediately when learning, or it will learn the delay as well, which isn't helpful.
Hopefully this helps those NAD people out there enjoying the VU+, and encourages the VU+ people looking for a good HT amp solution to look at NAD :-)
