Hanging problem

I have a ex9000 and for as long as I remember it has taken about 5-7 seconds to change channel if the channel hasn't been changed for a while and gets the spinner up in the corner. Once the channel has been changed once it works straight away with each channel change until it is left for a while and back we go again.

Just recently it is now taking approx 1 minute to carry out a restart of enigma2 also. Is there a reason that would cause this? I have tried vix / openpli / blackhole images and all have the same result.

problem is likely that you have picons stored on your hdd. when you change channel, hdd has to spin up to load picon... Move these to usb or flash, and you are likely to have problems disappear...

Many thanks. Not sure why I had the slow reboot but a complete re-flash has sorted that too
