Anyone with Softcams, scanning or greyed out channel issues read this!

If you've got scanning issues or greyed out channels, set you tuner settings 'Send DiSEqC to YES', even if you are not using DiSEqC.

There's a small bug in the drivers, setting to No and scanning results in a number of channels not being scanned.

Further info to the above post post, Setting Send DiSEqC to YES results in fully working latest images! No more need to stick with Team Red Image!

Now you have a choice of Openmips, OpenAAF, Sif Team and Italysat. Remember to flash latest bootloader dated 04/04/12 to use latest images.

Is there any advantage to using one image over another or is it just cosmetic differences?

New images have a new linux kernel. Personaly I really like the nice clean Openmips image, basically a clean Openpli image built for the Giga HD800SE.
