Vix 2.4: image too large ...???

I just installed VIX 2.4 on my Solo but the image is too large (all corners cut) and impossible to resize it correctly. I also tried to change set TV format settings but no cure !...
PLEASE help.

Menu>Setup>System>OSD>OSD SETUP. ( may be system>setup i always get those two confused )

you can alter the settings there to fit your TV screen.

But much better is to disable overscan on your telly. After all you'll be after a good picture quality, I presume?

agreed but on some TV's its not possible to disable overscan as is the case with one of mine.

Sadly that is true. And sometimes overscan is hidden behind all kinds of fancy names or in a service menu.
But it is worth to have a good look for that: googling on 'overscan + TV-type-number' often helps. Or contacting the manufacturer: sometimes a firmware upgrade brings the solution.
