Hi guys,
Im having an issue that when you bring up the channel list on some satelites the EPG does not show unless you actually view the channel. If you want to view an extended epg for one channel the max it shows is 2 prorams.

Why would this be?

When i stream to my PC the EPG is perfectly fine.

What satellite? What image are you using? Is the TV provider one of the providers supported in the EPG grabber of your image?

Where do i get the epg plugin from?

I have just faffed around with my box and scewed it rite up!

I am going to reimage it. What image would you recomend?

try the latest released VIX image.
it has all lastest drivers, enigma 2 and above all a built-in full working epg :D

well, these are the ones i use

font magnifier
virtual zap
vlc player
quickbutton

and off course rytec epg (it is embedded in the image, so no additional downloads)

Thanks mate.

Just installed the image and it looks fantastic.

Only thing is that it only has 2 x Astra and Hotbird Sats.

Anyway of adding more sats without having to manually add??

well u need to transfer any bouquets u like to the box and so it will have it all

Cheers mate did that.

Problem i have now was CCCAM. How do i get it to pick up my CCLINES?

Ive added a cccam.cfg file and its not working.

u need to put the file in /etc
and the file name is to be CCcam.cfg and not cccam.cfg

Thats exactly what the issue was.....i used lowercase!!!

How can I get these plugins you mentioned?

I am also unsure what this "zap" feature is ? can you please explain?

If you hold down the OK button, then it will allow you to scroll across to the channels using the right/left arrow keys to do a quick now & next for all the channels in the selected bouquet whilst still watching the current channel...
