Hi anyone know a good way to transfer movies from the 1TB HHD currently fitted to my Ultimo to the new 2TB HDD I am going to fit Thanks in advance

I would buy a USB SATA adapter, swap over the hard drives and then plug the old one into a usb port.

You can then telnet into the box and copy the files across.

just use filezilla and drag n drop them

just use filezilla and drag n drop themWouldn't that mean transferring 1TB of data across the network just to get it back to the same machine?

Did mine by FTP (wired LAN) and it took forever.

Nope we are talking about transfer from external usb drive to a new internal drive on the same box
