crossepg is crashing all the time. it just hangs frequently, after downloading all the data, mainly during 'reading titles' or 'parsing' or whatever.
its random, inconsistent, and when it crashes it freezes the whole box.

all i can hear is the music of the sly channel.

what is wrong with it?>

If you enable a SWAP-file before downloading: is the problem gone than?

hi - what is a swap file and what do i do with it?
ive seen the word in the menu but no idea what it does or means.. (its a shame no manual comes with any of these images - where on earth do you get the knowledge from?)

EDIT.

found this on google - 'What is a swap file?

A swap file allows an operating system to use hard disk space to simulate extra memory.'

so ...is that correct? if so good. so same question - how do i activate a bit of the hard drive as a 'swap file' and then how do i get the epg to use that etc....

thanks.

menu>setup>vix>swap manager then create and activate a 96MB swapfile preferably on a usb stick
