View Full Version : ET 5000 won't update or load plugins

Hi Guys,
Loaded latest Vix image to Extrend 5000.
Looks great:thumbsup:
but it won't let me update or load plugins.
On the online update it says The box is not connected to the internet,please check connections and try again.
internet is working perfect, i even restarted network.

On the plugins it says sorry feeds are down for maintenance :confused:

Mate,
Did u read what I said, problem only on xtrend 5000.
It's perfect also on my solo and xtrend 9000

Buts thanks mate for reply. But I need an answer to the problem

VIX 2.4 downloads via the feeds is universal, and the fact that the 9000 can download, surgest a problem with the 5000, perhaps others can confirm

Sic, how can I flash to build 155 when I can't update it online?
I don't see a firmware for that build.

Have you DHCP disbaled on the 5000? if so enable it reboot and see.

Not set a static IP on the router?

Might be an idea to reboot router as issue is between box and router.

DHCP is enabled mate and I also reset router.
I didn't get chanch to load later image hope this will sort it mate :-)

Check the Cat5 cable, perhaps change it for another

go to menu/setup/system/software update/ allow unstable updates..

Then it should work..

This is only for the plugin..
