Dreambox edit

I have used this to send channel lists to the VU but the last couple of times it seems to be sending the data but after a reboot the channels aren't there. DE image, and everything else working fine.
Any ideas anyone ?

Ok Thanks I'll try it. Found a loose bolt on the actuator and trying to find 30 west again is a headache. It's easier if the channels are there and you can just nudge it a bit until you see some signal,

Are you clicking on reload after they're been sent?

Yes, but is says 'sending reload command failed, see the log, reboot by hand'. any ideas ?

Tried the new version above, still getting the same response on the reload settings, doing a restart from the remote, channels still not there. I can't understand how the reload settings says cannot connect when the ftp files obviously does, connects and seems to go through all the files then disconnects

Dream Elite 1.3.3.f Profile set to Enigma 2 not Satellite receiver ( which defaults to 'Enigma' The reset command says could not connect to DB on ip 192.128,11xx Check ip address and/or your network, yet under Tools 'profile' the address and password check. The FTP option is set to 'passive' It couldn't be a port problem could it?

can you recieve the current channel list from the VU??

(set up a recieve folder 1st)

if this works,
over write the list with the one you are trying to send
then hit send files to dreambox, rather than reload settings

oh..and hard restart the unit afterwards,..(switch off the unit, then restart)

Thanks again to all. I downloaded my settings from the box no problem and then tried to reload the settings I had edited and it would not because there was a bouquets file missing. Downloaded another set , edited them and they loaded up straight away. Now, whether the settings file I downloaded file was missing that file, or I somehow had inadvertantly deleted it I don't know, anyway all sorted thanks .
