I'm new to this forum (and a new owner of a vu+ duo).
please can someone tell me if the new viasat card 016 is working in internal card reader of vu+ duo?
I already burn one card with my dm 7020 and I dont want to burn the second one.

but i would definately use a smartgo reader, with an external usb hub and power surpply (5 volts)

probrably, your best bet is oscam, in conjunction with cccam 2.1.3,

i use like external card reader one smartmouse easymouse2 on my dreambox 7020 but i was wondering if does work on vu+ duo direct in internal reader.
anyway please can you tell me why i have to use hub with power supply?(i ask you because my card is stop working once or two ice a day ).can be this the problem that my card stop working?

its just that internal reasders can have a hi mhz setting, which could destroy a sensitive card, where as a control usb hub/smartgo setup is safer ( I would disable emms and update via your cam, or official reciever)

as far as your card goes, as I posted, I cant advse why it will not work, and do not no if the card will work in the VU+ internal card reader, its an expencive card, so I urge caution,

my experience with internal reader is good. I have NDS totaltv card which only run at 3.3v and can be easely destroyed (in dm800 or dm500 for example). In VU+ it runs even colder than in original receiver.
In my opinion, you can use your card in internal reader without any problems.

it doesnt matter really. I am using it in top slot. In the bottom one i also have one card but it is viaccess.

This is from streamboard, home of oscam.

I see no reason why your card will not work in the internal reader oscam.

As I have said in other posts if you need help with oscam just let me know.
