Is there a mediaplayer in VIX2.4?

I have bought vu+uno and installed the latest vix firmware and can not find the mediaplayer.

Can you help please

It's the button to the right of Menu on the remote.

The button will play the recordings in the hdd...

Can it play media files in my pc shared folders?

Yes, plays recordings on the hdd without issue.
As for media files on your PC, you will need to go to Menu - Setup - System - Network - Samba Setup
Once Samba is installed & running you can mount your shared PC folders & play most files.

And it is very handy to make several bookmarks; that way you can fast-navigate to all locations.
