My Et9000 istalles updates but don't show then on the information menü

Hi there ...

My ET9000 with VIX 2.4 shows new online-updates an i hop it installed them ...
... but when i take a look on the info-page it shows me everytime the Build 135
(but i installed the Build 151 yersterday)

After the update i can search for new updates ... but there are no new updates
available ... thats clear

Whats wrong with my ET9000 ... or what can i do, that the menu is showing
also the newsest information ?

opkg update
After that, please post the output of

opkg list-upgradable

And now ? I restart the box but nothing is new ... everything linke the screenshots on top ...
and online-updates aren't available ...

Your 'opkg update' shows that downloading from the feeds works fine.
Your 'opkg list-upgradable' show no output; that means that your box is up-to-date (or at least thinks it is).

OK, that sounds fine ... first ;)
But why isn't the Info in the Menu not up to date?
I am happy that everything works ... so i wont want to reflash the box.

Perhaps you have a fix for this? If not ... i' ll wait for a ne VIX Version ... or a reflash ;)

Try running to following command in telnet:


opkg install --force-reinstall vix-version-info

This should force the re-install of vix info. My guess is maybe that the file which holds update info was in use or somehow did not get updated...
