I have a panasonic television with a freesat tuner built in. I also want a motorised dish to explore what is available on other satellites. I live in Surrey.

Rather than solely relying on a motorised setup I am considering having a two dish set up (if such a thing exists). Is this feasible? and if so what should I consider.

I also have a number of bits pieces which I was thinking of putting towards the motorised set up. Diseqc 1.2 digipower motor and a six LNB.

I was thinking of getting a clear dish for the motorised set-up.

I was wondering what I'm thinking of is feasible?

What should I consider if I follow this path e.g. should the dishes be kept separate or can they be used on one mounte?

Advice would be welcome.

yes you can have a multiple dish setup.

for example on my ultimo currently i have

1 sky uk fixed zone 2 minidish ( this has a quad lnb in use with other receivers but 1 feed goes to tuner 1 )
1 sky uk fixed zone 2 minidish ( this has a octo lnb in use with other receivers but 1 feed goes to tuner 2 )
1 85 cm motorized dish ( using a DiSEqC 1.2 motor and a inverto ultra black twin lnb 1 feed going to tuner 3 ).

the above setup works very well for me but it's just a example of what you can do.

thank you for the response. I think I'll try a similar set up.
