vix_night_hd skin - what does flashing green light on infobar mean ?

The one to the left of the REC symbol. Everything is working fine (I think) - I'm just curious.

I think thats the "update" available
go menu/vix/online updates ( assuming you are using the latest VIX image ( 2.4 )

It's the update icon, means there is a image update ready.

Blue button> ViX> Software update.

Green flash - stable update
Red flash - unstable update

Is there any reason why the update icon doesn't show up for me on my VU + UNO
its there but is just greyed out

Just checked & yes it's turned on but i noticed it was set to check for updates every 6 Hours and now it is flashing Green so i guess i should reduce the current time to check for updates.

vu duo on 213
green light KEEPS flashing even after onboard software update.
ive tried all options(ie remove usb etc) but after reboot the icon is still there flashing away

i doubt there'll be anymore updates for vix 2.4 so u might aswell turn that feature off :)
