Hi, I am trying to flash my vu+ uno using the instructions in the sticky post.
I have downloaded the new 2.4 vix extracted the files to a fat32 USB memory stick using the correct directory structure. I then inserted the USB stick into the front port and power the box back up and it just boots normally without upgrading the firmware.
I've tried 2 USB sticks, 2 USB ports, different build (2.3 & 2.4) .
Will I have to format the box and start from scratch?
Or are there other ways to flash the box? Ftp files?
Any help appreciated

Cheers
Mark

when you boot the receiver watch the VFD it will tell you to press a specific button to start the flash, if you dont do this it will just boot up as normal and ignore the flash files.

And also make sure the other USB-ports are not in use.

Good for you!
In spite of knowing this, I run into the same problem every-time!
