Screenshot Grabbing no longer working

Since I've updated to 2.4 ViX, I can no longer grab a screenshot. Either through iDreamX or through a webbrowser. Has anyone else come across this?

I have never used those applications to perform screen grabs i do mine via a telnet session which i used last night so i can confirm this method still works.

no problems here grabbing screenshots using iDreamX on ViX 2.4. Just double check you have the right HTTP Port setup. check menu/plugins/open webif and then have a look in the box settings that you have the same port

Thanks for the replies.

I've actually just got it to work again. Only thing I've changed on the box is adding AFP from within network settings, so as the box now shows up on my iMac again. Oh well, at least it's working again. Thanks guys. :-)

well yes that would be the case if your using a apple device as the AFP plugin is needed to work with apple devices.

I have problems with Chrome, I have to fire up either FF or IE to get it to work.

I know this is an old thread.

Just wondering do the open webif team update their interface at all.
Since day one getting a screenshot or using the remote if you do manage to get screenshot workng has about 10% success rate.
I access the box remotely alot to check things or if her indoors has an issue but with WEBIF its a disaster.
Is it easy to switch back to the old web interface (even though I prefer the new one).

Will switching back have any issues with Streaming, VOD or any plugins.

http://ipaddress: portnumber/grab - don't leave a space between the colon and portnumber, i had to, as it was putting a smiley icon in the address
