vu duo and powermids

i have connected my duo using an rf modulator

i have been using these powermids with other box but can get it to turn over in a different room.

has anyone able to change channel in another room and if so what equiptment should i get

Do you want to do it wirelessly or can you hardwire it.
All my kit is in a cupboard in the kitchen and I use a hardwired IR extender from Keene electronics - extremely reliable this way. I have in the past found that wireless methods are a bit hit and miss

I tried using the powermids but found them hit and miss... Although i think that was mainly down to my plasma TV intefering. LCD tv should be fine.


In the end i Found the duo remote would change channel even without direct line of sight to the box. Great remote
