My Duo has been running great since day 1 but today I did a channel scan, some error came up, the box rebooted and now when I get to the OPENVIX VU+ Duo loading screen, it hangs on there for about 2 minutes then the "loading" text changes to "shutting down" and then it, well... shuts down. :confused:
What's happened? All I can assume is the image has become corrupt or something. At least, I hope it's the image. :(
Hello there.
This happened to me once when my box crashed when recording a channel. The only way, I found, to get the box up and running was to re-flash the image and restore a backup.
If someone else knew how to fix this then I'd be more than happy to hear it.
I re-flashed and restoring a backup now.

Thanks for the crash log although i have not read it i must point out that any error found would not be able to be fixed for that build of image as it is the older kernel 2.6.18 image, any fix would be built into a newer build image and we do not release patches or fixes for old images. It is also likely that any problem you suffer on a older image has already been fixed in the newer ones.

yes the very latest public image is 2.3-204 but there will be another release soon as we are in the later stages of beta testing it now.

if your running the 2.3-204 then thats the newest current version of the image, when the new image is launched it will require a reflash as so many changes have been made a online update would not work.
