Blackout when rewinding or pausing

I have permanent timeshift on and my external hdd is 7200rpm and never goes to standby and is set that way on vix but when i rewind or pause there is a second of screen blackout. I can live with it but should it be doing this? The drive is already mounted correctly to media/hdd

This is normal for me and mine is an internal HDD...

Mine does this also, on Black Hole image pause was instant... so hopefully new Vix will iron this bug out.

Also autotimer only searches for matches in the 7 day epg so how should i set up a programme that comes up once a week?

I get the black screen on pause as well. Its not ideal, is this issue being addressed in the latest build?
