What image?
If using VIX, it's quite simple.
Press EPG, highlight the program, use blue button for Add AutoTimer.

should be sorted by doing the above so.
Add AutoTimer (blue button in VIX EPG) is the nearest to SKY series link you will get.

Secondly how do I remove that ANNOYING narration ive done it manually on dolby but want it off permanently

To view recorded programs, use the file list button. Button beside the Menu button.
To remove audio narration - Menu / Setup / System / Auto Language Selection --> set Prefer AC3 to yes & Prefer audio stream stored by service to no.

Web interface for streaming to laptop, if using latest public VIX - http:// IP OF BOX :8088 (i think), check the port by Menu / Plugins / OpenWebif
As for iPhone, I use dreamdroid on Android, presume it's also available on apple?

how about streaming to a laptop though Connect to your receiver via the web interface and click the tv icon next to the channel you want to view.
