Stuck on "Starting" after Vix online software update

Hi guys,

I have vix 2.0 on my vu+duo and when I do an online software update and it reboots it just sticks at "starting" on the display.

I have to reinstall the original vix to get it started again.

I have even gone back to the original VU+ software first and as soon as I update I get the same problems.

Any ideas?

Have you flashed the bootloader first before flashing the image?

are you sure about the version of ViX your using ? as ViX 2.0 is no longer maintained nor updated and has no update feeds any longer.

I suspect your using a pre linux 3.1.1 Version of the ViX 2.3 image which your trying yo update online to a linux 3.1.1 version image.

Yes Ive updated the bootloader.

OK which is the best version to install to successfully update online?
