Vix on Android

Now I'm sure this is a daft question but I do like android and the move by modern TV providers towards an App based platform and therefore wondered if we will ever see the VU oe equivalent box being built on Android. What would be the biggest problem that might stop this happening

It would certainly be something i would like to see ( a satellite receiver powered by a android based operating system ) but i dont think it will happen. it would require a complete new image built from the ground up, as well as new hardware and hardware drivers etc etc etc. I personally think it would be a massive undertaking and one that would be a considerable expense to develop.
