I have recently purchased and set up a Vu+ Duo. I've got it working with my Sky card with thanks to the help in these forums.

However, the only channel I cannot get to display is Sky Living HD. All the other HD channels are fine with my Sky card and Sky Living standard def channels work fine. I used SGTFlipFLops channel lists with DreamBoxEdit and got everything else to work fine. I can view the channel when the card is in my Sky HD box so cant understand why this one channel wont work.

Any ideas on this?

I have attached a screenshot of the channel data from DreamboxEdit.

Have just tried it using dreambox edit and it hasnt solved the problem. There is a signal coming through but for whatever reason it doesn't display. Have tried it on both tuners with same result.

The channel transponder info has changed slightly though and i've uploaded another screenshot.

Why not try a set of Silverfox / Vix bouqets.. just to rule out the bouqets..

You will find the link for them in my Signature..

Tried "VIX Silverfox0786, Mr. Mister E2 HD SKY UK [HD SWAP] [05.05.2012]" and it still doesn't display.

BTW, the above bouquets produced a lot of errors when opening in dreamboxedit and crashed my box first time.

I still haven't been able to find a solution to this. Doesn't make sense as all other hd channels are fine and Living SD works fine also.

Hi,

Way don't you do a manual scan of 28.2? That would then definitely rule out any problem with someone elses bouquets? It would take approx 5 minutes for a manual scan, and if you still can't view the channel, then the problem is elsewhere.

Hi.

What settings do you recommend using when running the manual scan? It asks for frequency and so on.

Hi yes have already tried that to no avail as the settings of the channel are the same as in the link you sent.

Could people please compare their tuner settings to mine as this might be the issue. I have the following:
Config mode: simple
Mode: DiSEqC A?B
Port a: Astra 1N/2A/2B/2D/Eurobird 1 (28.2E)
Port b: not connected
Set voltage and 22khz: yes
send DiSEqC only on satellite change: no

Also, in playing around and retuning I've not lost Sky 1 HD and sky atlantic HD! Help!

The other issue could be my CcCam setup. I installed enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam.2.3.0_1.0_mipsel.ipk and copied the CCcam.cfg to /root/etc. My ccCam.cfg file only contains the following line to allow me to use my sky subscription card:

card reader /dev/sci0

you also need to have the corresponding boxkey for the card in your CCcam.cfg file in order for the card to clear the premium channels. ( although sky1 is not considered as premium i am not sure if sky1 HD is ).

Can you go into the ccaminfo and see what is showing for entitlements, if the card is being read properly than you should have about 8+ entries.

Also file name needs to be CCcam.cfg

Stanman, do you mean the /etc/enigma2/CCcam.channelinfo file? If so then there are a whole load of entries (about 700 in total and i've attached the file as a zip).

You are indeed correct Phoenix! I grabbed the box serial number off sky box system info, converted it to hex and added the following line to my CCcam.cfg file (hex value changed for obvious reasons):

BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 A3 F3 81 77

Thanks to all of you for your help in which has been a learning curve for me as a linux and vu duo newbie but worth the effort :D. It is strange though that sky1 hd and sky atlantic worked initally.

However, all work now, even sky Living HD!
