et9200 timeshift problem

hi my timeshift works fine, the problem i am having is i turn my box of by the mains at night and when i turn it back on press timeshift either nothing happens or it says timeshift not available, so i format the drive with xtrend control centre and its fine, but then the same thing happens when turned of by the mains, do i need to leave it in stanby evertnight?.

try putting it in deep standby, first then turn off the power, some people will say there is not much differnce between unpluged and deep standby.

i tried the deep standby and get the same result, also installed auto timeshift and then permanent timeshift same results, i have to keep on formatting the drive if i want timeshift to work, then soon as i install a plugin and restart timeshift is unavailabe.
