My so called Supreme Intelligent Alsat Dark Motor has died. Only had it just over a year and the darn thing decided to die :(

Anybody recommend any decent motors to buy. I really don't fancy buying a Alsat Dark Motor again.

I was thinking of buying a Technomate TM-2600 instead.

Any suggestions?

Both my motor dishes have the TM-2600, been rock solid for couple of years now :)

I'm going to order myself a TM-2600.

Look promising those do from looking at other posts.

good choice mate.

cannot go wrong with a tm2600, use one myself and installed loads of customers dishes with a tm2600.

Also used the darkmotor but for me a tm2600 is a strong reliable motor and has all metal gearing aswell:cool:

+1 for the tm2600. Been running my 90cm dish for 4 years now without any issues.

Yay got my TM-2600 delivered and installed it today. Fingers crossed it lasts more than a year unlike my crappy Dark Motor :p
