as far as the fraverites go, i would expect the unit arrived with a full set of channel/providers and various sats, if you want to make your own fravs listings, you will nee to use "dream box edit" and do a bit of reading

with regards to your network problem,

how have you got it set up, ie, hard wired to your router??
to see if the unit is connecting, go,
menu
setup
system
network
network settings

and make sure that use interface is ticked
and use dhcp is also ticked
press ok...and it should connect

What satellites are you using?
Have a look here for up to date channel listings (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/forumdisplay.php?21-Enigma-2-Settings).

Then, edit them if needs be using DreamBox Edit (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?16375-DreamBoxEdit-IHAD-Edition-5-0-1-0&highlight=dreamboxedit) to set up your own favourites.

Got crossepg working. Is it possible to edit channel list? Can you just select HD channels?

if you go to fraverites, ( i take it you are wanting uk tv ) you should have a HD section, whilst watching the hd channels..press the epg button, and all hd channels will show what coming up

Your gonna need DBEdit to do anything channel wise..

Google it and download and install on your lappy or puter..
