hard drive issue ?

I have a 500 GB HD installed (internal) seagate and i am having consistent issues all the time....

I am running the latest BH image (but have tried others including vix with the same issues)

It seems to store the EPG data OK but when i try to use it to record it plays up " NO HDD found or HDD not initialised " so i initialise the HDD and it will record but then when i come back to use it again later in the day i get the same message again and have to re initialise in order to record ?

Could this be a bug on the HDD itself or am i missing something ?

I'm having the exact same problem even tried a different drive so hope someone can give us a clue..:)

After inititializing, check that your HDD is mounted correctly.

I have no idea with BH, but with ViX > Blue button > VIX > Mount Manager.

So first re-initialize, wait for the format to finish. Reboot the receiver and check mount manager. Also check your recording settings paths.

paths are fine because it will record straight after initialisation but then fails later, will try and find this section on the BH image and let you know, thanks
