hardrive problems

hard drive shows as wrong size in menu
i have a wd 2.5 tb drive it shows corect size in device manager but only shows 280gig in mount manger

Are there any hidden partitions?

put it into a PC and see if there are any partitions and if so delete them and than put back into box.

no partions its a brand new drive but it does have something strange about block size

Yes but it only creates a 300gig partition on drive although hdd setup shows full size
