Hi guys,
I received my brand new ET9200 yesterday but am having some teething problems setting it up.
I have Vix 2.3 image on the box from supplier.
I have the box connected to a sky HD dish with 2 feeds.
I am looking for an EPG data file that will resemble the Sky UK setup and not having much luck.
I followed this link http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?14373-How-to-setup-Crossepg-in-all-ViX-Images but when i get to step 2 there is no option for changing the file location by pressing the left or right buttons, only options are OK or Cancel nothing else is displayed in the black box. The only option i ever get in this menu is `Are you sure you want to save EPG Cache to etc/enigma2/epg.dat' . I followed the rest of the guide steps 4 to 14 but after rebooting the box there is no difference.
I have just installed a 500gb hard drive in the box today and records and plays back ok should be able to access this drive for backup/storage.
I also have a 16gb flash drive plugged in but that isnt seen in that menu either but both drives are seen in the Hard disk menu.
Also need help with ccams setup as im not sure which cams to use with this image or latest version and how to install.
Apologies if i've posted in the wrong place as im new to the Satellite stuff.
If anyone could help me out here id be grateful.
Cheers !

OK Punisher i followed the guide in your signature for installing CCams but in my setup there isnt a CCcam.cfg file anywhere to be seen.
Any ideas,
Thanks.

You need to create that yourself, no mainstream images come with cfg files anymore. use notepad+++ to create it.

OK just done that and added it to the etc folder then the cccam was accepted by the box, now for the tricky part, what goes in the cfg file?
Cheers.

Ok people i managed to get the CCcam thing sorted but im still having difficulty installing Silverfoxs 0786 bouquets.
I installed it onto the ET9200 using Packet Manager and it installed OK but when the box reboots all the channels are greyed out and i get the message 'Service Unavailable check tuner configuration'.
I have done a couple of scans before so there will be some channel data stored somewhere, do i have to find and delete that first or rescan again after installing Silverfox.
Looks like all the channels in Silverfoxs list is how i want my setup to be its just getting them to work.
Still finding my feet with this box, any ideas anyone?
Thanks!

Hi, im using a fixed Sky HD dish with 2 feeds coming into the box 1 in each tuner set up as Tuner A Tuner A AVL2108 (DVB-S2) 19.2 Astra Single Mode,
Tuner B Same as Tuner A.
I can do a manual scan with these settings, this just happens after installing Silverfox bouquets.
Thanks.

Look at screenshot above, you need astra 28.2.

Silverfoxes bouquet only contains the satellites.xml file for 28.2 east if you wish to be able to tune to any other satellite you must install a new satellites.xml file that contains all the necessary data for all the satellites you wish to use.

How To Update Satellites.xml File - Click Here (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?11987-How-To-Update-Your-Satellites.xml-File&p=87270#post87270)

@psham tried going into Satfinder and activating tuner didnt make any difference. When i go into a tuner setting its all black then when i alter settings slightly the level monitors start moving in green and the lock indicator is ticked but when i exit out of that menu theres no option to save the settings and when i go back into it everthing is black again.

if your using a fixed dish pointing towards 19.2 east why are you using the silverfox bouquets pack ?

setup your tuners as in the picture sicilian uploaded but for 19.2 east instead of 28.2 east then do a scan but you will need a new satellites.xml file to replace the one in the silverfox pack.

Use the Vhannibal settings but delete all the unwanted sats - best done in dreamset as its a lot quicker to do - he has them sorted.
