Had a quick browse and didn't find anything related to Remote Recording features on VIX. So, the question is, is there a way of setting your box to record over WAN?

Hi,
do you want to set timer? As Rob said web-if but if you own a tab search the market for dreambox and you should find some apps to control the VU+ also. I use dreamdroid on my android devices.

Class guys!! Just added a time over 3G :p

I use Dreambox Live to stream to my iPad over LAN. Is there something similar that works on WAN?

Hi,
normally you should be able to use the same app. On android all I needed to do is to get a dyn-dns (or similar) account, create a port forwarding in my router for letīs say port 1080 WAN to port 80 of my Ultimo. Now you only have to setup your app to use your dyn-dns address and port 1080 for the connection to your box. One drawback is that streaming will be impossible in 99% of the cases because for that you need an upstream of 10MBit or better.
