This will probably sound like a silly question but bear with me.
Technical question regarding the capabilities of the VU+ receivers in general.
Can they be used as glorified hard drive recorders with DVB-T dongles that double up as capture cards?

Could we, in theory, say, hook up an old VCR to the dongle and record our old VHS tapes to the HDD of our solo/duo/ultimo, along with watching our tuned in tv channels?
