Streaming Extra Tuner

Hi,

I actually have a vu ultimo and I'm looking to stream one of the tuners to another tv, I've seen the western digital hdtv box, which might do the trick, but has anyone got one? Does it work well? Or is there something better?

Hi,
a small HTPC with the latest XBMC-PVR does have a PVR addon for E2 boxes which already works very well. A small HTPC with AMD Zacate will cost around €250 but is more flexible then a media player but you must do some configuration before it works well. The WD box is also not streaming live TV out of the box you must install 3rd party firmware but might be a bit easier installed.

I'm with Trial here....the bonus of course is your HTPC will do way more than just receive a streamed broadcast!

With a ViX-running STB you can stream all TV/Radio-channels and recordings from the serverbox.
The configuration is utterly simple.
