Hi m8, the guy who sold you the box with " gift " should have all channels available for you, you should be getting most of what sky offer in channels, etc..all sky sports, sky movies, etc.etc. and one thing more, the guy who sold you the box with " gift " ask him how long the gift is active, as i had a m8 who also got a complete set up with 3 spider boxes with " gift " and all he got was 3 months with the " GIFT " and the guy is now where to be seen, i would ask him to explain the set-up to you, so as you understand what will happen in the future, as you will need to re-top up your " GIFT " at a later day, and you should know what to expect, but like i said, you now should have about all SKY have to offer in channels....

thank you Blueboy for your quick response... he actually suggested to go to google to see the 'gift list' channels...I did find 1, but it was 2yrs old.
He said it should last a year but then I would need to buy a new box "...as I can't 'recharge the box" ...is this correct or can I download a new configuration?

anyway, I have been using it, more by 'trial`& error' than by intelligence, I can't understand why, when you buy one, they can't give you an A4 with the channels on it, by sat, language & category...how cool would that be!!

Anyway, once again, my sincere thanks for your advice...and of course if anyone reading this can offer any further guidance, I would love to hear it!!

Because basically that service is very illegal even if it is the main selling point of the receiver.

Head over to alsat which is the support forum for the box and you will find a thread on what is open.

If you have the "gift" that is built in to the box then you won't get any Sky channels.

Most pre prepared channel Lists have all the clearing Ethernet channels included in The Favourites Listings
