Hi again, i have another problem if anyone can help.
I am able to view SD channels on 0.8w but keep getting 0% signal on the HD tv pl channels.

This also happens on other sats e.g 13e etc I'm using a 90cm motor dish, every other sd channel works great.

Any help is much appreciated.

HD channels require a stronger signal than sd channels so either you need to tweak your dish or the dish may not be big enough for the channels you are trying to receive.

Try doing a rescan. Which channel settings are u using?

Tried rescan etc, didn't work. Starting to think it may be the size of the dish.

Go into the menu - setup - service searching - satfinder and enter sat which is 0.8° w - Manual Transponder - 10747 H 25000 FEC 3/4 and see what your SNR margin is

What size dish have you and where abouts are you.

I think the dish size should be ok, almost anywhere in the UK,

its more likely that the dish is,nt quite aligned, check that the dish mount pole, is true plumb, check bbc world, and see what sig strength you are getting ..it should be close to 100%, if so, you should get the HD channels you are after, at around 60% =/- 5%, any less than that, you wont get a piccy

Yeah I get tv pl on a 110cm in northern Ireland so 90 should be fine in England, try adjusting your lnb skew

You dont adjust Skew on an LNB in a motorised system skew is adjusted when the motor and dish moves to each sat position. Skew should be set to Zero

If your not picking any HD channels up on 13e then that suggests that your dish set up will need tweaking a bit as the 90cm should be OK for 13E.
Any faults with the dish set up are exaggerated as the signal becomes more difficult to obtain which will be why yoyr not getting any HD on 0.8w
