Problem watching recordings

I'm having issues trying to watch recordings from my HDD. If I press the list button it brings up the half a dozen recordings I have saved but when I try to watch one, the spinning VIX logo comes up for about 2 mins then, the screen jumps to movie playback and then straight back to the list menu.

Tried rebooting and all the recordings in the list but get same problem everytime. Anyone got any ideas of what might be up ?

Hi

I've got a very similar problem - Recording okay then like Jimbo when I select the movie to play it starts but a one frame at a time?
Using networked hard drive via vix 2.3 (which is also spinning constantly)

No, just trying to play the movie from the recorded list straight from the button.

@ TomD, you network and Network HDD maybe the issue. Try an internal, esata or USB HDD.

Thanks Sicillian - It would have been cool to get it working, but have wedged out for a 1TB internal HDD - now happy as Larry :thumbsup:
