Updating Openbox S9 HD Channel List

I have downloaded a .dbs file which from reading the notes is a pre-sorted channel list.

Do i just pop this onto a usb and load/update from it?

What kind of risk is there to ruin my settings?

It is always a good idea to keep backups just in case.
