Why does the spinner start of big then go small

When rebooting box the spinner goes from big to small anyway to stop this at all

I had assumed the larger spinner was low def which changed the the smaller high def one when the screen resolution kicked in?

thats how the spinner works

most other teams address this with the size of spinner they use

vix spinners are all same sized and this is the normal function

and has been since vix 1.0
