how do i installed cccam??

Ive ftp'd cccam 2.2.1 ipk to tmp went to manual install selected it appeared to have installed but hasn't.

any thoughts on this??

right guys ive apprecaited your help soo far.

this box is doing my head in keep hitting stumbling blocks - the latest is....

Gigablue hd 800 se
openAAF image
installed cccam 2.2.1 from plugin's
activated it and put config file in /etc

but still nothing, I get the freeview channels and all my channels are working on my other box (vu+ duo)

Got any suggestions? I cant think of anything!!!!

Should the config not go in VAR/ETC......??

var > etc was the old E1 boxes..

On E2 boxes.. The cfg file goes in etc..

Use Team red image this utility http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?16217-Extra-url-tool-Gigablue

After the reboot you get an extra download feed to self install softcams.

did u try to go to cccam manager and activate cccam
