enigma 2 settings service searching

Hi,
Do i need to do dervice searching after uploading the settings because somehow it worked without service searching on 1 of my e2 box but on the other one, it give me an error saying tuner confifuration is wrong. Can any1 pls clear this up for me

No it's not generally necessary to do a service scan after sending a bouquet pack to the receiver providing that you do it properly and either restart enigma or if using DBE hit the reload button once done. However saying that sometimes it is required especially in cases where the bouquet maker has accidentally left some services as data channels.
